About ATLANTA YOUNG SINGERS

ATLANTA YOUNG SINGERS brings music skills and appreciation into all aspects of life. AYS is more than a simple choral program– it provides a diverse and challenging learning environment that inspires intelligent thought, artistic creativity and personal growth. AYS Singers come from over 95 different public, private, and home school environments covering a 50-mile radius of Atlanta.

Each year over 210 children ages 7 to 18 (2nd – 12th grade) are accepted into AYS.

• AYS brings together a diverse group of Singers from a wide range of backgrounds to work together and build relationships.

• AYS strengthens personal life skills such as self-discipline, confidence, responsibility and teamwork.

• AYS allows children to explore different cultures through music.

• AYS represents Atlanta to the world through artistically excellent musical perfomances.

• AYS offers in-depth education in music training, theory and history, which also has a direct impact on scholastic achievement.
